Schwarz Digits creates the technological foundation for digital sovereignty in Europe. Your tasks
- As part of a small, cross-functional team, you are responsible for everything from concept, design and implementation to operation (“You build it, you run it”).
- Together with your team and the product owner, you develop the product strategy with your team, collect requirements and plan their technical implementation.
- You support and consult our internal teams to visualize and understand cloud costs and help them gain insights about profit and losses.
- You continuously automate and optimize all technical processes on an ongoing basis.
Your Profile
- You are a kind and open-minded team player who likes to challenge the status quo and constantly looks for opportunities to grow along with their team.
- You have 3+ years of experience in software engineering and feel comfortable in a dynamic, growing company.
- Agile software development is your thing, as is enthusiasm for cloud technologies
- You are proficient in Go, or alternatively another backend language (Java, Kotlin, etc.). You are open to pick up other languages along the way, e.g. Python.
- You are familiar with Git, Docker and Kubernetes.
- You are familiar with databases, e.g. PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Helm) is a plus.
- Experience with analytical databases (e.g. ClickHouse, Yugabyte), data lakes (e.g. Hive, Iceberg), query engines (Spark, Trino, StarRocks) or dashboard tools (Superset, Tableau) is a plus.
