Foundation (school interns & apprentices)

You start in the spotlight, not in the shadows. From day one, you will be assigned to real and relevant platforms. Instead of just theory, you will take responsibility and see the genuine impact that learning can have.

Traditional IT apprenticeship:

With a traditional IT apprenticeship, you will dive straight into a hands-on role where you will take on responsibility early on. Possible training paths include IT specialist with various areas of expertise, IT systems engineer, or IT electronics engineer with various specialisations. Other IT-related career paths are also possible, depending on the requirements.

Duration: Usually three years

Requirements: good secondary school certificate, entrance qualification for a university of applied sciences, or general higher education qualification

Remuneration: 1st year of apprenticeship: EUR 1,250; 2nd year: EUR 1,350; 3rd year: EUR 1,500 – plus holiday pay and Christmas bonus

Leave: 30 days per year

IT Entry Programme:

If you’re looking to combine theory and practice and kickstart your career more quickly, the IT Entry Programme is your ideal starting point. You will start with a streamlined two-year apprenticeship in IT with various specialisations, for example as an IT specialist with different focus areas, or as an IT systems engineer. Next, you will gain hands-on professional experience, pursue further qualifications and complete the programme with a Bachelor Professional in IT (IHK) qualification and the trainer aptitude exam (Ausbildereignungsprüfung as per AEVO).

Duration:  4.5 years

Requirements: general entrance to higher education qualification, entrance qualification for a university of applied sciences or similar

Remuneration: 1st year of apprenticeship: EUR 1,350; 2nd year: EUR 1,500 – followed by standard remuneration plus holiday pay and Christmas bonus

Leave: 30 days per year

School internship in IT:

Schwarz Digits offers mandatory and voluntary school student internships for one to two weeks. Take a look behind the scenes of our IT landscape and learn how state-of-the-art systems work directly within our team.

Development (students & graduates)

Theory blends with practice under real-life conditions. As a working student or intern, you will be assigned to projects with a direct impact. Whether it’s technology, organisation or business, your ideas will help create digital autonomy.

Remuneration: EUR 1,000 gross per month

Leave: 20 days/year, pro rata

 

Voluntary internship

Working students

As a working student, you will work in a permanent team alongside your studies and can flexibly adjust your working hours to suit your lectures and exam periods.

Remuneration: standard remuneration

Leave: 30 days per year

Working hours: max. 20 h/week; up to 37.5 h during lecture-free periods

Final thesis

Write your thesis under our professional guidance, working on a real-world topic independently while enjoying complete flexibility when managing your schedule.

Trainee

You start on 1 April or 1 October in a 12- or 18-month trainee programme and then transition to a permanent role as a Junior Professional.

Cloud Accelerator Programme (post graduation)

Launch your cloud computing career through the Cloud Accelerator Programme, securing a permanent role as a Junior Cloud Engineer – in just 8 months after graduation. You will work closely with seasoned cloud specialists, complete in-depth training, and gain hands-on experience in our product teams.

Duration: 8 months

Start: annually on 1 April or 1 October

Working model: On-site for the first 12 weeks, then hybrid

Dual study programme (degree programmes with a focus on IT)

The dual study programme allows you to blend theory and practice and gain valuable professional experience right from the very first day. Possible programmes include International Management for Business and Information Technology (IMBIT) (DHBW Stuttgart), Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DHBW Heilbronn), and Business Informatics with various specialisations.

Requirements: A-level (Abitur), entrance qualification for a university of applied sciences (Fachabitur), if necessary with aptitude test)

Remuneration: 1st academic year: EUR 1,650, 2nd year: EUR 1,750, 3rd year: EUR 1,950

Join our IT career change programme “Im Job zum Abschluss” (from job to qualification) to earn your IHK certification as an IT Specialist for System Integration on a part-time basis – while being permanently employed with us and working in our IT Service &; Support department.

Duration: 4 .5 years

Start: annually on 1 March and 1 September (application deadline approx. 6 months in advance)

Qualification: IT specialist for system integration (IHK)

Employment area: IT service & support (various positions in end-user support)

Remuneration: based on your previous experience; defined on a case-by-case basis
