The impact you will create

  • Define and Execute Sales Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies specifically for the Romanian market to achieve ambitious revenue targets and market share growth.
  • Build & Lead High-Performance Teams: Recruit, mentor, and lead a top-tier sales team for Romania, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive New Business Partnerships: Personally engage with key stakeholders and drive large-scale business deals within Romania, leveraging your extensive network in the technology, private, and public sectors.
  • Market Penetration: Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities on a local market, positioning STACKIT as the preferred sovereign cloud provider.
  • Collaborate & Influence: Work closely with product, marketing, and engineering teams to ensure our offerings meet specific Romanian market demands and our sales efforts are fully supported.
  • Engage with International Sales Organization: Actively collaborate and align with STACKIT's broader international sales leadership and teams, contributing to global strategies while ensuring local execution aligns with overarching company goals and best practices.
  • Reporting & Forecasting: Provide accurate sales forecasts, performance reports, and market insights specific to the Romanian market to senior leadership.

Experience And Skills You Will Need

  • 20+ years of progressive sales experience in the technology industry, with a significant focus on SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS products and platforms, with a strong background in the Romanian market.
  • 10+ years of proven experience in leading and developing high-performing sales teams, with a strong ability to motivate and inspire to reach company goals.
  • Verifiable and extensive contact network within the Romanian technology sector.
  • Established contacts within both the private and public sectors in Romania at senior decision-making levels.
  • Demonstrable track record of exceeding sales targets and driving substantial revenue growth within a country-specific market.
  • Deep understanding of the Romanian cloud market, competitive landscape, and local industry trends.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in English is essential, German language skills are preferred.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Romania and occasionally to other European locations as required.
