Schwarz Digits, the IT and digital division of the Schwarz Group, officially opened the new Schwarz Digits Campus in Bad Friedrichshall today in the presence of political guests. For the first time, various units of the division are being brought together in one central location on the new site. The campus can accommodate up to 5,500 employees, who are spread across five terraced buildings, and covers a total area of 15.5 hectares. This physical proximity strengthens collaboration across all digital services and creates a thriving environment for the development of digital technologies from and for Europe.

Schwarz Digits, the IT and digital division of the Schwarz Group, is strengthening its executive leadership in the strategically important security and defence sector: Harald Mannheim is taking on the role of Head of Defence at Schwarz Digits. In this role, the experienced industry expert will be responsible for the consistent expansion of business operations in Germany and Europe. The focus is on developing sovereign, highly secure IT infrastructure solutions and other supporting services for armed forces, intelligence services and public safety agencies (BOS), as well as for companies in the defence industry. Most recently, Mannheim served as Senior Vice President of the ‘Defence Digital and Cyber’ business unit at Airbus Defence and Space. There, he was responsible for programs in the areas of IT system integration, software solutions, and cyber resilience. Prior to that, he held various leadership positions in the private sector and the military.
