At the Cloud X Summit by STACKIT at the RheinMain CongressCenter in Wiesbaden, Schwarz Digits — the IT and digital division of the Schwarz Group—announced the strategic expansion of its partner ecosystem in the Data & AI sector. By integrating leading data and AI specialists Celonis and Snowflake, Schwarz Digits is expanding STACKIT’s Data & AI ecosystem. This will give customers freedom of choice and access to leading AI and data platforms from European and global providers.

Zscaler, the cybersecurity platform for the AI era, and Schwarz Digits, the IT and digital division of Schwarz Group, today announced a strategic partnership. The collaboration combines the Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange platform with Schwarz Digits’ European sovereign cloud STACKIT. This creates a sovereign Zero Trust Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) service designed to prevent AI-driven threats and increase cyber resilience. Now available to customers across Europe, this offering is hosted in German data centers and operated by STACKIT. While built for organizations across every industry, the solution is tailored specifically for mission-critical operations in public administration, defense, financial services, and healthcare.

Schwarz Digits, the IT and digital division of the Schwarz Group, officially opened the new Schwarz Digits Campus in Bad Friedrichshall today in the presence of political guests. For the first time, various units of the division are being brought together in one central location on the new site. The campus can accommodate up to 5,500 employees, who are spread across five terraced buildings, and covers a total area of 15.5 hectares. This physical proximity strengthens collaboration across all digital services and creates a thriving environment for the development of digital technologies from and for Europe.

CrowdStrike (NASDAQ: CRWD) and Schwarz Digits today announced an expansion of their strategic partnership, launching a multi-year roadmap to bring the AI-native Falcon® platform to European enterprises on STACKIT, Schwarz Digits' sovereign cloud, and to extend access for customers across the region.

Effective July 10, 2026, Christian Müller, currently Co-CEO of Schwarz Digits, will assume sole overall responsibility for Schwarz Digits, a company of Schwarz Group. Rolf Schumann, until now Co-CEO, is leaving the company by mutual agreement, effective immediately, after seven years of building the division together.

Schwarz Digits, the IT and digital division of the Schwarz Group, is strengthening its executive leadership in the strategically important security and defence sector: Harald Mannheim is taking on the role of Head of Defence at Schwarz Digits. In this role, the experienced industry expert will be responsible for the consistent expansion of business operations in Germany and Europe. The focus is on developing sovereign, highly secure IT infrastructure solutions and other supporting services for armed forces, intelligence services and public safety agencies (BOS), as well as for companies in the defence industry. Most recently, Mannheim served as Senior Vice President of the ‘Defence Digital and Cyber’ business unit at Airbus Defence and Space. There, he was responsible for programs in the areas of IT system integration, software solutions, and cyber resilience. Prior to that, he held various leadership positions in the private sector and the military.
