The impact you will create:
- You’ll be a key player in developing and scaling our company-wide internal automation platform, ensuring our global engineering teams have the smoothest workflows possible.
- You won't just be writing code, you’ll be building the backbone of our development ecosystem. Our goal is to automate the mundane and optimize the complex, providing a seamless "paved road" for developers across the entire organization.
Experience and skills you will need:
- Golang Development: Proficiency in writing clean, testable Go code. You should understand core language concepts (interfaces, structs, and error handling) and be comfortable with advanced patterns like concurrency (goroutines/channels).
- API & Service Design: Experience implementing and maintaining REST and gRPC endpoints, including service definitions via Protocol Buffers.
- Kubernetes (K8s) & Containers: Proficiency with kubectl and a solid understanding of K8s primitives (Pods, Services, Ingress). You should be comfortable managing database-driven deployments and troubleshooting networking within a cluster.
- Message Brokers: Experience integrating distributed messaging systems, specifically NATS, to handle asynchronous service communication.
- Engineering Excellence: A strong grasp of Git flow and version control.
- Experience working in an Agile environment (Jira).
- Comfortability performing (and receiving) rigorous code reviews.
- Active usage of CI/CD pipelines to ship code safely and frequently.
Bonus Points (Nice-to-Haves):
- Infrastructure as Code: Experience with Terraform or Pulumi.
- Observability: Hands-on time with Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry for monitoring Go microservices.
- Advanced Networking: Deep dive experience into K8s CNI, Service Mesh, or Load Balancing.
- Cloud Native Ecosystem: Familiarity with managing managed K8s offerings
- Database Optimization: Experience tuning PostgreSQL performance or handling migrations in a distributed system.
